He "lost." And I disagree. He would land his jab consistantly, knock Kessler's head back in the process, and Kessler would respond with 3 to 5 punches and maybe land one.

And when Kessler actually did to land something halfway meaningful, Froch would respond back with harder punches, making Kessler back up and retreat.

They stole the fight from Froch. Kessler fought like a half ass Angulo.

I never thought in a million years Froch would be able to outbox Kessler, but he definitely did.

When a guy starts off saying"how can anyone give the fight to..." whoever it is when the fight was very competitive and very close he doesn't get my respect as far as me bothering to give him a logical reply in that specific thread. No sense in trying to do the same with me when I'm clearly messing around :good

    :lol::lol::lol:

You pole smokers are really embarrasing yourselves on this one. Of all the controversial decisions that have happened in boxing even in recent times and you pick this one to bleat like little girls about? Just confirms once again that you can't even have a slightly competitive fight in boxing without one side screaming highway robbery. It's just bad for the sport.

Froch faded in some rds when Kesslers onslaught was more or less constant. It was a legit win imo for Kessler but the scoring was a bit generous for the home fighter.

I'm curious. We're you here calling the scoring of the Froch-Pascal fight criminal when those 2 blind judges scored it 118-110 and 117-111 for Froch?

Or is it criminal only when Froch gets the short end of the stick?

Being as pro Froch as i could be ( without just lying to myself ) i could just about have made it a draw but that would have been unfair to Kessler , he deserved the win. For me ( a Froch Fan ) Carl only CLEARLY won 3 ( maybe 4 ) rounds.

A great fight , a dissapointing loss but by no means a career ender !

I think Froch is the better fighter and would win a rematch, but he lost vs Kessler. End of story

Your card is worse than Tilleman's. And you have less excuse as you presumably watched the fight on TV with replays and different angles and he had only the one angle.

Froch-Kessler was no robbery. It was a close hard to score fight, a close fight that I had Kessler winning having outworked Froch. It's a fight that you can see being scored one way or the other but definitely it was no robbery. The judge that scored it 117-111 was clearly to never going to score it for Froch but the other two had it about right.

Dirrell was on the end of a far worse decision fighting Froch in England.

Froch gave away the fight. He

    * didn't work to the body, Kessler did.
    * let his hands hang down, he used no guard at all. Kessler did.

That's what cost Froch the win. He could have won this, but he chose not to. No whining can change that now.

Stupid of Sauerland to bring in Tilleman cause they obviously didn't need him for Kessler to win. Had the scores been something like 115-113 116-112 116-112 there would have been no debate about the result. I think a lot of people are simply ticked off because of the corrupt scoring by Tillman.
