It’s gonna be an awesome fight. I’m so psyched for this!! Boxing needs this. I really wanna see GGG try to walk Lemieux down and do his normal stuff but Lemieux just standing up to it and be all “this gonna be different GGG” “i ain’t going nowhere”.

I can’t wait for this. This could be the epic fight we have been waiting for!

Yep, a perfect secondary. like Floyd used to put a popular Mexican on the undercard at 5 de Mayo

I'm more interested in the Gonzalez fight, Roman is the better fighter and has fighting better comp.

It will be exciting in the way quick one sided knockouts are exciting.

Roman vs. Viloria is the best fight, followed by a nice little walkout bout.

Aside from great promotion, i do want to see this fight but I am not that pumped up because GGG will destroy him, Lemiex telegraphs his punches easy to read GGG is simply class above and it will show...
Canelo Cotto is more competitive than this.

Then why aren't non-Americans talking about it still?

It'd be nice if all the Golovkin fans could just be honest. Lemieux is good but he's nothing special like everyone is trying to hype him to be in hopes of being able to quote themselves and say, "Look! He fought Lemieux! Lemieux was the future of the division according to this poster!" When Klitschko, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Ward, or any of the other top names in recent years fight someone of Lemieux's skill and merit they are crucified and called various keyboard-warrior terms.

He has one quality victory, a good one in N'dam.

The best opponents he has ever fought, and the only ones you could argue were ranked or close to being ranked, were N'dam and Marco Antonio Rubio.

His title belt was just won one fight ago from vacancy.

All that said, Lemieux will be one of Golovkins' 3 best victories (along Geale, Murray).

The amount of people complaining about this fight or trying to taper the hype to a realistic level is nowhere close to the amount who routinely whine about comparable examples... Golovkins' silly fans produce Golovkins' silly haters. Add that the ratio is overwhelming and, well, yeah, tough to mingle in the forums without getting annoyed and being forced to always represent the outweighed side of the argument.

This is equivalent to Mayweather fighting Ortiz. Actually, very similar. Ortiz and Lemieux could be argued near identical on paper going into both fights. Both good deserving fights. But we all know how everyone talks about Mayweather vs. Ortiz... I challenge you to be consistent.

It'd be nice if Lemieux should win and the tables turn, I could actually type well of Golovkin and point out the good in his resume while all the leeches jump off the bandwagon and the lack of respect for him flip flops to being out of proportion.

Lemieux has something special. The kid hits as hard if not harder than GGG. That's special and extremely interesting going into this fight. We've seen how opponents react with GGG's power and now Golovkin is about to get a little taste of what he dishes out. I want to see how he reacts.

So with GGG vs Lemieux we have a champ vs champ a Puncher vs a Puncher and People takl about cause it will be exiting!!

On the other side with Cotty vd Canelo we have the ducker157 vs a contender a "so called 157 champ" fighting a 154 guy and this all at 160 . . . :patsch:patsch

and the funny Thing is Noone anymore talks about Cotto Canelo :deal

I like one-sided knockouts a lot for some reason. Lemieux N'Dam was stupidly fun to watch.

I'm not even going to read through this thread but I'm guessing the GGG haters have turned up in mass :tired

FUN FACT: Nearly every current GGG hater would be swinging off his nuts if he was an arrogant black american, with a criminal record that he was proud of, and his hobbies and interests included woman beating.
