I picked Chavez Jr in a 50/50 fight, but I was clearly wrong, Fonfara was clearly dominant, winning basically every round, it was more like a 99/1 fight. Will Stevenson get his full credit for beating Fonfara now, or will Kovalev fans keep on discrediting him? When Stevenson left HBO for more money, and better terms he was labeled a ducker and coward, now Kovalev has basically done the same most people call him a duck, but there's still an abundance of nut huggers on this forum that won't criticize him.

In the first fight, he looked like an obese fat albert in there though. The second fight he dominated.

It's a decent win over top 10 fighter, nothing more nothing less. This win doesn't change it.

No. Stevenson is a one handed one trick pony.

He's nothing without his size advantage. He's been beating up on goblins and leprechauns his whole career. Once he stepped in there with someone his own size or bigger he got dealt with. Chavez has received a number of gifts during his career. Vera just got shut out by Willie Monroe and sparked by Gabe Rosado. Vera is basically a trumped up journeyman.

Vera was badly damaged after the second fight, he was taking flush shots by Jr. Vera also beat Lee, who cares if he lost to Rosado? He lost in BKB not boxing, it's not teh same sport, completely irrelevant, and Chavez damaged him before those fights. Fonfara shut Chavez out betetr than Martinez did, if Fonfara won a clsoe fight I wouldn't be making this thread, he completely and utterly outclassed JR.

Didn't you pick Chavez Jr as well? Fonfara completely outclassed him, made him look like a novice, give Stevenson some credit.

It was his debut at the weight. This should arguably be Chavez's 9th career loss anyway. (Martinez, Fonfara, Vera I, Zbik, Cuello, Vanda I, Molina I & II and arguably Lyell)

    So chill.

So? What's your point. Chavez was completely outclassed, Fonfara did it better than Martinez did, and Martinez was considered p4p at the time he did it. This win is very underrated.

So what, I like Fonfara too, Adonis deserves no credit, Fonfara just beat a blown up Middleweight who blocks punches with head. Adonis a ***** who picked Fonfara because he thought it would be a walk in the park for him, and it wasn't, Julio made the same mistake.

His point is that this win isn't that great and doesn't elevate Fonfara to a level above of what he already was.
