I hope Lemieux is fine after this fight. He was a brave fighter in the ring with GGG.

Golovkin has too much power and elite level skills for this middleweight scene.

Let's see if Cotto-Canelo winner will dare to step in the ring with GGG.

The ref did a good job stopping the fight when he did but erred badly by not acting on the punch Golovkin landed when Lemieux was down. It wasn't serious enough for a dq but he should have at least applied the no foul rule and given Lemieux up to 5 mins to recover and deducted a point from Golovkin. He also panicked at the site of blood coming from Lemieuxs nose and rushed him off to see the doctor. That was laughable. I just don't see how you could say that was a good performance.

I agree that the ref should've deducted 1 point from GGG and give D.L some time to recover.

Totally agree, those were my exact thoughts watching the fight, especially not giving Lemieux extra time after the punch he received while he was on the floor.
