just lost his opportunity to shine vs STALIN LOPEZ (CUBAN STAR FROM MIAMI)......they were supposed to meet at lightweight, but then stalins camp asked us to do it at 140...so we said **** it we'll do it.....well right now at the weigh in stalin lopez weighed in at 155 !!! ****en pounds...josh even took the time and went up to stalin and told him to atleast drop to 147, josh had his shirt off and stalin looked scared as **** and didnt even try to make the weight......he just said he didnt wanna fight.....what the **** man, this ****en sucks......

I don't know much about this Stalin Lopez but having had a look at his previous weights on boxrec this is crazy. A Lightweight coming in at 155 !

It's a blatant case of wanting out of the fight. I feel sorry for you and your fighter Freddy.

Ok Freddy, listen up. I agree Josh looks like a very prospect. And its not the first time he losses an oportunity for a fight. I still remember he didn;t fight the Puerto Rican guy he coould have beaten easily. But lets be real here Cuban star???? Just because cubans like to thing everything coming from the island is ****ing perfect doesn't mean is that way. Lopez is a 31 y/o with 6 fights including a N/C. And he is already showing lack of discipline.

Live pro boxing returns to the city of Miami on Friday night with “Back Alley Brawl,” a 9-bout card presented by GD Big Promotions in association with DeCubas Presents. The show will be held at La Covacha, one of Miami’s most popular night clubs located at 10730 NW 25th Street. Headlining the show will be the popular welterweight contender Ed “The Lion” Paredes, (22-3-1, 13 KOs) out of nearby Hollywood, Florida facing former title holder Oscar Leon, (28-10, 18 KOs) of Columbia over 10 rounds. Cuban Olympic Silver Medalist Yudel Johnson, (3-0, 1 KO) will face veteran Louie Leija, (21-13-1, 15 KOs) of San Antonio, Texas in an 8 round junior middleweight bout.
Cuban Olympians Yunier Dorticos, (1-0) will face Tampa’s George Nowell in a 4-round cruiserweight bout while light heavyweight Yordanis Despaigne, (3-0, 3 KOs) faces Reggie Pena, (4-1, 1 KO) who is coming off an upset win over previously undefeated Haitian Olympian Eli Augustama.
Another Cuban amateur standout, Yoandris Salinas, will be making his pro debut in the featherweight division against 25-fight veteran Felix Flores of Columbia via Miami.
Hot prospect Stalin Lopez of Miami puts up his undefeated (5-0) record against San Diego’s power-punching Joshua Marks, (6-1, 6 KOs) in a 6-round junior welterweight brawl.

That blows, you guys gonna get any incentives for you guy's troubles atleast?

From the way Duran's bitchy daughter has been treating you guys in the past I wont be surprised that she will ask to suspend Marks license instead of the Cuban's just for the hell of it.

I blame capitalism for making these cuban prospects fat.

I think this may be a blessing in disguise. I understand this is your friend Freddie, but it seems like this is too much of a jump in class at this point in Joshua's career.
