Pavlik fought after only 5 weeks of training against a WBC ranked opponent, in order to keep his belts...

He wanted to fight PW in Jan... PW didn't want to wait any longer ( I don't blame him) ... PW went ahead and fought S.Martinez and lost a close fight IMO ...

Now his handlers want him back at 147 and away from guys who can do damage to him at 160... Pavlik and Arum both publicly called out the supposed "most feared man in boxing" who has been quoted saying that he'll fight anyone from 147-160... Yet PW has been completely SILENT... just watch the interview after the MArtinez fight, and try and convince that is a man who is confident in his "win" over Martinez, I wanna hear it.

Simple fact is --- PW had never been in with a guy who can hit as hard as Martinez, and it shocked him . He still fought like a true warrior and thats why I am a fan. But lets be honest...Williams never has been a MW.... Martinez is no where near as powerful as Pavlik ... Williams has been an easy target in almost all of his previous fights, he leaves his head out there wide open while throwing his relentless combos.... Pavlik would crack him over and over again with those monster rights.. Williams Size and reach advantage would not be apparent against Pavlik..

 

ahahaha .... so if someone called you out on the streets, in front of a crowd of people... and if you remained silent and did nothing... what would that make you look like?

 

Have you watched the Hopkins / Taylor fights?

doesn't sound like it... I was at the 2nd Taylor fight at the MGM... and that was a Pro Pavlik crowd.. I would estimate at least 65-35 ... Taylor -Pavlik 1 was almost 80-90% for Pavlik ... how can you be so blind?

I don't know what it makes me, but I know If i stood infront of that same person months ago ready to fight him and he says to me "give me a minute" and I obliged then he says to me "give me another minute" and I hesitantly oblige again and then he says he's not gonna fight me, but then he beats up on some little kid around the corner then I can't take that guy seriously anymore!!!

He should have told me the first time he wasn't ready to fight and then we can get it on at a later date!!!

 

Since you wanna play this game! So if you estimate the crowd at 80%-90% Pavlik how many people would you estimate to be there?

I do recall Arum and Pavlik calling out Williams in the ring, Williams and Goosen have not been very receptive to the idea after the beating he took from a JMW ... the only words from anyone close to Williams is his promoter, and he wants to move PW back down to 147, opposed to taking the 1.25 Million he would get fighting Pavlik

You can believe all you want about Kelly Pavlik and his "greatness" but in reality he's not good at all for the boxing community at this point!! He fights low level competition and hasn't won a decent fight in nearly 3 years!:-(

someone had the gaul to call the hopkins fight better then anything williams has done .. excuse me *******? ..no hopkins was a 40+ year old man that was suposed to be making his last run .. being delt into the old folks home and thrown to the wolves ... instead he proved he wouldn't lose to a one dimensional hype train and whooped his ass!... don't make it out to be that kelly actually thought he was gonna be in for the fight of his life .. he pulled that **** thinking it was a cake fight and got his face beat in for it
