Why do you insist on going back and forth with these MethHeads?!?!?! Please let them go back to their double-wides...
Only one of the two parties involved is the middleweight champion and it's not Paul Williams. Challengers don't demand parity with the champion unless they're named De La Hoya or Ali or Robinson or Leonard. Paul Williams still has a way to go before he can make those kinds of demands.
Pavlik hasn't even been champ for two and a half years. If you're referring to the efforts to make a fight for the fall of '08, the whole freaking world knows what happened. Team Williams made a deal, reneged on it, and demanded more money. Pavlik moved up two divisions and fought Hopkins. Williams fought the great Andy Kolle.
:yep Williams KO'd him in the first round!:bbb BTW Andy Kole has always been ranked higher than Miguel Espino!!!:yep
There is a meeting tomorrow or Thursday with Arum, Dunkin, DiBella, and HBO. They are going to try and map out the near future for Pavlik and Martinez. Based on what I've read, Pavlik/Williams is the fight HBO wants, but there won't be any Williams representitive at the meeting. Dibella said Martinez will take the money fight. Whoever offers him the most money is the guy he wants to fight. We should get some "breking news" tomorrow or the next day.
Imagine that---williams true colors shining bright. Just more fuel that Williams doesnt want anything to do with Pavlik. And he has the nerve to say hes the most feared man in boxing?? hahahahaha
Got this from someplace that chases out the seconds: "Dan Goossen is not a very bright guy. He never was, he never will [be]," said the veteran promoter; who you assume will not be sending out a Hanukkah card to his promotional colleague this holiday season. "Its not even his [Goossens] fighter, Paul Williams. He [Arum] gets a fee from Al Heymon. So who cares what Dan Goossen says?"
The only thing I know about Pavlik is that in his last fight, his hand speed looked slower than ever.
