shut up he looked good in his last fight and earned his place in the UFC when he fought GSP, its not always about being the best fighter technically.
He has no business being under contract after losing 4 fights in a row. His best win is over Mike Swick and he's just a gate keeper at best.
he had every right for the determination he showed againts GSP its not all about compiling padded records and flying arm bars?
If he wasn't a Brit, he would've been cut after the Johnson loss. If being tough was all you needed to be in the UFC, then Jon Fitch would've been given a lifetime deal after the raping GSP game him. Hardy would'nt have made it out of the 3rd minute with GSP had he been beaten down like Fitch was.
Hes got some minor heart issue, but the UFC wont take a risk it seems. Probably their waiting it out to see if anything can improve the condition and get him back to normal. Either way he shouldnt be in the UFC, as stated in previous post, hes from the UK and couldn't out-grapple a football.
His wrestling looked good in his last fight and the point being he didnt get beat down like fitch did he? All im saying is it would be boring to have a roster full of silva's and Gsp's imo.
The reality is that GSP, Condit and Johnson (when at his best) are simply on a completely different level. This is the major reason why he faced 3 losses in a row. Going into each fight I'm sure the UFC thought he was still a top contender and one fight away from being back in the mix. The Lytle loss is the one that hurts but on that B/C level he'll always win some and lose some as his next two fights showed. Hardy is the reason that fighters who get title shots need credibility. Hardys title shot was a long shot and the sort that happens in boxing.
i enjoyed watching Hardy scratch and fight to survive rather then feebly accept a points defeat like Thiago Alves for example?
