Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping is.... ON!!!

Now we REALLY get to see what Bisping is made of. Hendo will be in his grill ALL night. The guy has great wrestling and is a top notch striker. I dont see how Bisping can win this.

 

Bisping is ok but no way near Hendo. He should make an entertaining coach.

Bisping better make sure he gets through leben. Or else this is just not very appealing. They are really trying to market Bisping as their England posterboy. Too bad its come with mixed results.

Hendo/Bisping is a fairly good matchup.

 

Wow I cant believe they are setting this up with Chris Leben still standing in the way. The man has ridiculous punching power in that left hand I can easily see Bisping needing jaw surgery after this fight.

 

Yeah, I hope Leben knocks him out. That would certainly change the UFC's plan.

 

Hendo is going to skull**** Bisping, assuming Leben doesn't get to him first.

 

Until I read this postI was wondering if I was thinking of a different
Hendo than the one who got stomped so badly by Silva. Also, a
different Bisping than the one who should of gotten a draw against
Rashad and like you said beat Schaefer who looked like a beast
last night defeating Houston. Rashad has never been pushed
and challenged in every facet of the MMA game like he was
against the talented Bisping. Rashad slightly dominated the
ground action while Bisping was slicker and the more dynamic
striker. I fear we have more 14 year old boys and general
weak-minded wackjobs from the general boxing forum slowly
but inexorably infecting this MMA forum with their idiocy. See
above posts. Anyway this was a good analysis of the situation.

I think the reason behind having Bisping as one of the coaches is that i heard the next TUF is USA v UK (Welter + Middle)

Good post. Lot of people letting their prejudice towards Bisping cloud their judgement of a fight. Bisping halts Leben in the first by the way. Far superior in all departments.

 

Bisping has better offense on the ground and better footwork and kicks on the feet, but no way does Bisping have Leben's one punch KO power. If Leben gets stopped in this fight it will be a sub or a cut, not a KO. If Bisping gets stopped it will be a KO, not a sub.

This will be a decent fight. Stop making Bisping sound better than he is.

 

I agree about Leben's one punch power and moreover he has a granite jaw. We have yet to see how good Bisping is but his fight against Rashad showed he has some awesome potential. Anyway I am looking forward to the Leben fight as Chris is very dangerous on his feet and Bisping will have to show improved defense to avoid Leben's massive punching power. IMO if Bisping dispatches Leben with ease he is a danger to anyone save Silva. If Silva moves out of Bisping's division I like his chances to become champ.

 

I don't think Bisping will make it past Leben.
