Did you see Dan Jacobs' trunks almost up to his chest!? The last time I saw trunks so high it was on an 80 year old man. How can you be a contender when you advertise to the world that you are so wimpy about taking a body shot that you have to cheat and pull your trunks and protector way up high? He might as well come into the ring with headgear too.

Yeah all those body punches that Walton and Walker have landed sure do prove yer theory.

Not sure how I feel about this new Danny Jacobs style. It looked like his amateur style souped up with more emphasis on body punching.

You just said it yourself, amateur style.... this is the pros, it's different here. Imagine if Rasheed Warren came into the pros fighting like he does in the amateurs..... he would be destroyed.

I just think it's a little peculiar he'd go back to it when what he was doing originally was so successful. I think he may have gotten frustrated with the persistance of the KO against Mike Walker and decided to change things up to better fit what he deems a better style.

Just strange to me to be honest.

He's fighting harder opponents, so yeah he's going to look better from his previous fights.

Justifiably so...that said Walton had been down 8 times in his previous fights. It seemed odd that his power was there against better opponents chin wise than this guy and he couldn't KO him clean.

    Just strange...not BAD....but strange.

Amateur isn't as hard as Pro. This is what I'm saying.

Oh no dude I got ya. I'm just sitting here trying to figure out what Jacobs is trying to do now with this styles change.

Probably spending TOO much time thinking about it.

I don't think he changed his style at all. He even said before the fight that he didn't want to get into the habit of thinking he's a power puncher.
