:rofl Was just watching PTI and Floyd Mayweather was a special guest. I wish I had video of the interview, it was hilarious.

Floyd didn't answer any of their questions and Michael Wilbon and Dan Le Batard were laughing at him basically the entire interview.

I'll try to post it later if I can find it online. Great final word by Dan Le Batard as the interview was finishing up.

Just saw the interview. They weren't laughing at him. He was trying to promote the Mosley fight and they kept asking him about Pacquiao. The whole thing seemed pretty jovial.

Yeah I don't think it was a big deal. OP, you a Pacquiao guy? It was a pretty light-hearted interview all in all. Floyd did what he was supposed to, he focused on the upcoming fight and didn't want to talk about what's next, they did what they were supposed to, tried to get him to talk about Pac. I think everyone left happy.

yeah i'm a pacquiao guy, but i'm just messin around. i just thought it was hilarious at the end because he could have meant duckin and dodgin in boxing terms like he's good at avoiding punches, but for lot of people (especially on this forum) it probably sounded like he meant he's good at avoiding opponents. plus it was pretty funny how ******ed mayweather sounded in the interview.

it was, but they clearly were laughing at him because he kept refusing to answer questions and obviously just came on the show to say what he wanted to say on air. he should have at least played along with the guys a little bit. it's almost like he just can't think on the fly on tv. he goes in with a few set things he's going to say and sticks to it.

Did they ask Mayweather if any of the other fights on the card will have random testing?

He meant ducking and dodging the questions about Pac. Why talk about him when it makes no sense to? He's there to promote his fight with Mosley.

I like Floyd a lot, and I do like his trashtalking sometimes, but when he tries to talk extemporaneously he does sound like something of a moron.

seems like he just gets really nervous. he's definitely not the most quick witted guy.

Mayweather is fighting Mosley on May 1st. They have already started the promotional tour. He has already been criticised for continuously talking about Pacquiao. At this point it needs to stop. Mayweather usually has talking points when he goes on these shows and sticks to them. He needed to do that in this case. He's going to have a hard time selling this fight if he's constantly talking about Pacquiao.

He never does. Why would he for them? They had no idea about interviewing him and I could tell the second they had him on it wasn't going to be good for them.

For sure, and he doesn't seem like some overly confident dude to whom talking himself up comes naturally. obviously a pretty self-concious guy who tries to talk to cover it up.
