Why does Dan Rafael hate David Haye so much. I mean its one thing to have an opinion of someone, but it seems like there is a genuine hatred for the guy, did they have words at some point or what?

What do we care what he thinks, he is as biased as the most of us. The same way brits are usually biased for haye and justify all his actions.
    Both are wrong.

I think it is due to the whole Klit situation.

If i remember rightly, when Haye first burst on to the HW scene and was challenging the Klit's, Rafael liked Haye. He said he was exciting in and out of the ring which is what the HW division needed.

Fast forward two years or so, no Klit fight has happend or looks set to happen in the forseeable future and Dan, rightly or wrongly, blames Haye for it.

He isn't objective. He's an embarrassment. I dislike Haye but have you ever seen DRs Twitter? He only refers to Haye as Ducker. If he was a British journalist or a journalist from any other civilised country he would have been sacked for being childish.

I am a Haye hater but as a journalist he has to see that there are two sides to every story. I blame Haye for the fight not happening for the past two years, but any objective person who is defending Wlad this time must realise that if Haye had signed a fight 9 weeks before they would be slating him.

i dont care any man that does this deserves respect

@GilberticoWBA Funny thing is we once hung out in San Juan after super champ nonsense started & said to my face you'd try to get rid of it.

@GilberticoWBA I bet if I asked nicely, you'd give me an interim title, for a small sanctioning fee, of course.

@GilberticoWBA You have created a situtation where people who love #boxing can't figure out who the champ is without a freakin' chart.

@GilberticoWBA What principles? How is having 3 champs in multiple divisions about principle when it kills the sport & makes a joke of it.

@GilberticoWBA You have 3 champs in multiple divisions. How is this good for anything other than your bank account? We're waiting. #boxing

@GilberticoWBA Way to politic your way out of a serious question by giving an answer that said absolutely nothing. #boxing

My thoughts on Haye of have been identical to Fat Dan's. I was a massive fan and was pumped to see him enter the heavyweight scene. He was the much anticipated saviour of the division. But since then he has done nothing to back up his talk, and now I've come to resent him.

But I do prefer writers of Fat Dan's authority to remain objective and not be so childish in their rants. He does have a genuine reason to possess the negative opinions he does about Haye, but he needs to voice them in a more appropriate way. His constant reference to him as 'Ducker', is unprofessional.

Someone posted in the British forum that Haye and Booth were at a weigh in/press conference that Rafael was at and they went to speak to him, but he ran off without reporting the event.

I don't know what event it was but I'd love to see his fat lil legs running for the closest exit, notebook in one hand, KFC bucket in the other.

I think Rafael's problem with Haye is the same problem most have. Its not a British thing, my all time Fav heavyweight is Lennox Lewis. It's that he talked mad, mad ****, and then refuses to back it up. He has pulled out of fights with the Klits, which maybe he did have a good reason, but now he just needs to fight one of them. He might be a draw in England but he has done really nothing in his career to get the lions share. He needs to fight one of them, especially after talking so much. Plus to fight Audley was just plain pathetic.

I really wanted to like the guy, but he does seem to be a pretty big ducker.
