(Dan Rafael) Berto injures arm. Ortiz fight postponed?

Berto did question something about Ortiz after the first fight, but then covered his tracks saying he was talking about Spinach. But I think they demanded it to try look like they have nothing to hide...

There wasn't really anything suspicious in my opinion. Ortiz got himself a shrink for that fight, realized Berto's stamina sucked, and went on to beat him around the ring. I don't think Ortiz was juiced or had synthetically-enhanced stamina. Berto's stamina is known to be poor, and Ortiz hits quite hard and has good stamina, and he got up and beat Berto because he knew Berto would gas and he'd then have his way with him. Which he did.

I think Berto was just bummed he lost and looking for excuses.

 

I didn't even consider the rematch.. but the ending was controversial, some people think Ortiz was getting to Floyd at the end, and Floyd did say he'd give him a rematch if he wanted... He could say since Pacquiao doesn't want to fight, he'll stick to his word. :think

Yeah I guess I'm thinking too much of what the usual ESB response would be to the fight. Berto is coming off a win, strong and fast, only one loss to Ortiz, had a title but dropped it to avenge his loss.. Floyd could probably sell that..

Wonder if Ortiz would really step aside...

Ortiz wasn't on **** in my opinion. Pretty much what you said, Berto had no stamina and Ortiz had his mind all there for the fight. Excuses made by Berto, nothing more.

He would, De La Hoya gets a slice of a bigger pie if it's Floyd who fights Berto. Ortiz can call out the winner all he wants.

I for one wouldn't buy Void-Berto.. It's a weak fight! Why doesn't Floyd fight Ortiz again? He knows Ortiz would of gave him trouble!
