He wants a guarantee that Floyd will fight him in the autumn. Floyd is reportedly unwilling to guarantee this.

"Canelo could wind up facing Trout (or somebody else) May 4 without the guarantee Floyd is next or he could go on his own show in June."

Canelo needs to learn that he aint in the drivers seat and cant demand a damn thing. first and foremost, worry about getting past Trout.

I wouldn't guarantee to fight him either in September if I was Floyd. You don't know what could happen.

Now with that said, I hope he does fight the winner of Canelo/Trout

Oscar needs to get in Canelo's ear immediately if he isn't already, cause Canelo being on the undercard makes this card buy worthy for a lot of people who ain't crazy about the Floyd/Guerrero bout on its own.

If Canelo trashes Trout he wouldn't get the fight anyway.

Simply put, Canelo should be guaranteed a shot at Floyd if he beats Trout and agrees to fight on his undercard. Canelo being on the undercard against Trout will juice up Floyd's buyrate and make him more money. Floyd owes Ginger a shot if he gets through Trout, both because Canelo has already helped line Floyd's pockets in the past and is the biggest money fight left for Floyd at this stage that he might actually take.

Floyd doest have to guarantee any one anything but theres no better fight than facing Canelo/Trout winner and Martinez. I doubt the Martinez fight happens because he has no fans. None

Anyone know how much theyve been paying Canelo to be on Floyds undercards?

:deal If Canelo beats Trout there are NO excuses for Floyd not to fight him, aside from Floyd being scared shitless of the ginger. Canelo must go easy on Trout and make it look harder than it really is if he wants Floyd, though.

That is a lie. FLoyd likes fighting people coming off big wins. Floyd doesn't owe Canelo ****. Floyd will give Canelo no guarantees. Canelo can take his ass back to Showtime if he doesn't want to be on the undercard. This is coming from someone who is a big Canelo fan

Floyd-Guerrero with a Ginger-free undercard may not even crack a million buys. Ginger guarantees it will crack a million buys.

Guerrero is a good fighter, but casual fans don't know much of him or give a serious **** about him. He's not charismatic or an effective **** talker either. Throw in the fact most of the casual fans that do know of him are sure he has no chance whatsoever, and that's a recipe for a horrific buyrate.
