I never believed that May would fight Canelo anyway. I'll believe it when I see it.

 

There's no guarantees in life and I don't think any fighter of this era; Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto...3 big names, were earning millions in their early 20's. Nor were they making demands and calling their shots. If Floyd has his guarantee with Showtime, the fight could sell 500k and he's still getting paid. No 20 year old or however old Canelo is should be making more then seasoned veterans.

 

not at all. i dont consider myself a *****. i am however a fan. if u like boxing its impossible not to appreciate mayweather's skills. plain and simple. some of the **** he's done in the ring is unbelievable. its unreal. his performance against marquez was insane. i was rooting for marquez but its impossible not to appreciate what floyd was doing in there.

what i was trying to say is that canelo on his own wouldnt crack a million buys. floyd does more than a million on the regular. therefore, its safe to assume that they would both benefit from being on the same card. canelo more so. floyd's a proven a draw. people genuinely want to see him lose.

Floyds numbers looked great versus Mosley, who was past his prime when he finally fought Floyd. Floyd is his own attraction and he'll hit 1 million buys with people or alone.

Really. He completely outclassed a master boxer. He schooled Marquez. I realize that Floyd was much heavier than Marquez, but its not as if he bullied Juan. He simply outboxed him. It was very impressive.
