Just let that sink in for a bit. He'll have him as the number 2 heavyweight in the world if and when he ever pulls Vitali from his ranking as well.

He simply hates David Haye. Adamek shouldn't even be in the top 10 anymore though.

Povetkin fresh off the L is clearly ahead of Adamek at this point.

It's weird to rank Adamek ahead of Povetkin just because he lost to Wlad.

TBR have him at 3 but also have a recognized ranked champion in Wlad and have other active heavies ahead of him. No one takes Boxrec seriously and The Ring's rankings have been garbage since the policy changes.

Do you legitimately believe Adamek is one of the 3 best heavies in the world right now?

It's not whether you believe or not it all comes down to activity and level of competition.

Yes you can make a case on how and why the guys ranked below him would beat him because of size, speed, power, youth whatever but that is hypothetical. Where you cant really make a strong case is the guys ranked below him having a much better resume or string of wins to justify being above him.

What makes you more credible than the recognized ranking org's since you discredit all of them?

His string of wins since being thoroughly dominated by Vitali are either mired in controversy or against a poor level of competition. You'll have a hard time convincing his resume in the last two years merits serious consideration as the best non-Klitschko in the division.

I think TBRB is fine most of the time, even if their ranking is generous in this case, but what makes Boxrec and The Ring the slightest bit credible on this question? One is simply a flawed points system wherein guys receive credit for what they did years and divisions ago in perpetuity (the sole reason for Adamek's current ranking) and the other ceased being relevant a year and a half ago.

Even if you feel that those rankings are being generous i honestly dont think you can make a strong enough case for it with the 7 guys below him. Try your hardest with that crop i dont think his #3 ranking is too far off even if you shuffle a few guys around.
