Problem is none of those guys have shown any interest in Rigo, Agbeko did and was ready, and two close decission losses against an undefeated beast like Mares aint something to ashamed of

Arce was never great to begin with. He got popular for his war with Hussein Hussein on the undercard of PAC-morales for candidate foty. Hussein isn't exactly elite. Other than that he lost to every decent fighter, mijares, darchinyan. Prime arce wasn't in donaires league yet alone now. Donaire shoulda got Moreno.

 

Meh, not as exited about this as Donaire-Rigo, but Nonito has already fought three times this year, all against legit opponents so he's entitled to an easier fight. As far as tuneups go its not a bad fight at all, though I would have preferred Mijares or Shimoda.

I think it would have made sense for Nonito to get another fight with a southpaw under his belt before the Rigo fight.
