Was from Fat Dan's ESPN Friday chat today, thoughts? He's certainly not TBE imo.

No problem with it seeing as hes about right. This is what most boxing heads believe outside of the delusional floyd fans. NObody really thinks Floyd is the best ever outside of him and his fans.

Sounds about right to me. I can't really argue with a 20-30 ranking.

I have him in the top 20 ATG if he would have finished his career 50-0 he would have been top 15 ATG.

Since I don't rate the Pacquiao win, (you don't get points for beating a one armed opponent) I'd only put him top 40, but I can see why some people rank him higher.

I am pretty sure you can't be tbe of your Era (whatever time span that Era entails) when the other fighter got the fighter of the decade.

Pac's resume is deeper than May 's and despite beating Pac convincingly, he left a bad aftertaste with his doping scandal.

id put pac ahead of him with the better resume. The pac "win" is a joke. Floyd waited till pac was way past his prime to fight him. Means nothing.

Yet Floyd was older than him.
