Dan Rafael: GGG and Canelo have agreed to fight at 160, but not Until Fall 2017.

I dont know about that. Most boxers hit prime from 24-30. Most boxers are past it after 30. GGG will be 35 by then. I expect him to show signs of slowing this year.

 

trust me...im pretty sure canelo has seen his prior opposition and quite certain lil g wont lose to cans....hes doesnt live in fantasy land like lil gs fans

 

Please find one example of someone claiming canelo is more of a challenge than Ward or kovalev. You have made thousands of ggg related posts. Surely you have some evidence.

 

that would be dope!...but i dont even think ward being stopped by kova could help lil g sprout a nut sack that big!

you have to remember...lil g likes his A level fighters as welters and jr mws!

 

I hate feeding the troll ... But if you were managing and promoting ggg ... How would you handle the next 2-3 years of his career? Please attempt to be realistic. Think about what is best for ggg financially and come up with a plan.

 

Prime for MW may extend a few years past 30! It has more to do with wear and tear on the body and accumulation of stress factors outside the ring as well. Golovkin is very fresh in terms of said criterion, however age catches up to everyone and even under the best circumstances it is hard to believe a MW can stay in their prime past mid 30's.


Take it up with this filthy corruptsport that has done and end run arond him his entire career, waiting out his biological shelf life/expiration date.

 

at this point...honestly....he might as well just stay the course hes been on and wait for canelo.......hes already pretty much beyond the point of no return......

if i were going to seriously answer that question youd have to let me go back 2 years or so to start...to really make it anything worth it

 

He doesn't have a lot of wear and tear though and he seems to be at his peak right now. He's shown no signs of slipping so far and he doesn't rely on speed, which is usually one of the first things to go so I can't see him being markedly worse in fall 2017 than he is now.

 

How can he be fresh he's had 350+ am's fights and 35 pro fights thats a lot of wear and tear. Guy is an old 34 if you ask me, more like a 40 yo like Ortiz.

no..ill still let you know the guys he fights arent very good and the guys hes fought are pretty bad....thats the point...hes already done messed up what could have been a great career

in all seriousness....hes gonna be 36 with canelo as his signature win(if this even actually happens)....this is a floyd leftover.....thats kind of a waste to me for a guy as good as i think lil g is....

 

And yet nothing about how he fights suggests that there's any truth to what you say.
