And then you'll blame GGG for ducking Canelo.

Ggg says one thing and does another. Says he wants to unify at 160 but wanted to fight jcc jr at 168 who had no belts. Says he will fight anyone from 168-154 and tells ward he will only fight him at 164. once again claims he wants to unify at 160 but willing to fight pbf at 154 but won't do the same for Canelo. The guy acts like he's the cash cow despite doing **** numbers and never paying his dues and acts like a diva. Lastly his fans say every other fighter must move up to prove greatness but ggg can stay in a dead division and doesn't have to.

I don't see GGG ageing too much over the nexy year. Considering how many fights (amateur and pro) he's had, he's relatively fresh. He doesn't rely on speed, so hopefully next year, he'll be at least 90% of the fighter he is now.

If Canelo manages to score a couple of respectable wins at Middleweight in the meantime, this will still be the biggest fight in boxing. And Canelo will still get washed.

It's too far off with too many variables to have any real meaning. I am much more interested in ggg next fight then who he will fight next fall.
Hope it doesn't distract ggg selection of opponents.

    1. Has never fought anyone weighing over 155 lbs
    2. Has never fought above 155 lbs himself
    3. Currently has legal promotional issues to attend to
    4. Can wait until 3G has all the belts to make the fight much more
    5. Has fought top level opponent back to back to back without a real tune up

    That is what is ironic

What was Golovkin's excuse for calling out anyone at 168 with Ward being an exception again?

Ward hasn't made 168 lbs. in a while, idiot. He now fights at LHW.

Canela hasn't made 154 lbs. in a very long time. He missed weight against Angulo and had to pay him money IIRC. He competed for a MW title and asked for a catchweight of 156 lbs.

Canela can come in at 155 lbs. if he wants, but Golovkin has the right to come in at MW to contest for a MW title. :patsch

Open and shut case. Canela is a joke, and you are a cuck.

Canelo doesn't need non-mainstream Golovkin. Just like Golovkin doesn't need a no-draw Ward.

Again - you are looking at this from a very odd perspective. Of course he would fight Chavez at 168 because he would destroy him and make a lot of money. Of course he would fight mayweather at 154 because it would be a lifetime earnings score. Ward would be a huge risk he doesn't have to take when he has the potential of canelo at 155 to 160. He would probably fight at 157 or 158 if it was his last chance at the money. Stating 160 firmly is clearly part of negotiations.

Your diva comment is just perception - should he be more humble? Who cares really.

Of course you end your comment with what this is really all about - his fans comments bother you. That's just something you should try to get over. He is not his fans. He also doesn't singularly control his own destiny. He has managers and promoters as do the other fighters. It's not as black and white as you make it out to be. It's a complicated business. It makes more sense for him to maintain his heir of invincibility by blowing out everybody 160 and below (including the bigger money fights at that level) than going in as an underdog against a bigger Ward who happens to be p4p top 5. It's business, not personal. That's why I also don't criticize canelo for dragging out the ggg fight. If you had it your way (as a fan) you would have every fighter engage in wars and be brain dead after 5 fights. Why you actually criticize fighters for not taking that approach is beyond me.

Yes - three fighters that would pose problems for him that are not in his weight class. What a fool for avoiding those fights!

Hahaha ... Read my posts and not just the parts you want to jump all over to disagree with. I actually defended canelo delaying the fight. I think it's a smart move. You are arguing a point I didn't ever make. If it was a simple reading comprehension error - no big deal - it happens on these threads.

I think your implying I think canelo should be criticized for delaying the fight. Quite the opposite - I think it's a reasonable decision to "marinate" the fight. I stated so in previous posts on this thread. So again - not sure what is ironic?
