No that doesn't apply to me, that applies to you. If you'd do your research instead of looking like a complete ass, maybe you'd have a leg to stand on. BUT....

With that kind of money on the line I see no reason why this fight won't happen. Nor do I see no reason why this offer won't still be on the table in a few months. Golovkins team might respond positively but I'm going to bet they wait til after they beat Jacobs to renter the negotiations since they'll have that momentum behind them. With the fight this far out it's way too early to call anyone a ducker.

But then if Canelo whoops on Chavez he's going to get more money too. That's why both fighters accept the terms and money now, sign the contracts that way they get the exact money they signed for when they meet in September.15 mill is a hell of a deal.

If GGG beats Jacobs and Canelo beats Chavez then the profile of the fight gets a major boost. Especially if Canelo beats Chavez. That might actually be the catalyst behind this sudden announcement. The only relevant thing that has happened in the past week or so is Jacobs/GGG being close to made and Canelo/Chavez being a real possibility. In the future anyone reading this in hindsight could easily say that this offer was the exact moment we knew Canelo/Chavez was going to go down. GGG/Canelo isn't in jeopardy of not happening right now so what other reason would GBP boost the offered purse other than knowing the profile of the fight is about to get a significant raise. If GGG's team has any brains at all they'll notice this as well and the 15m offer won't look any different than the previous 10m offer.

I've made the point before that GGGs team accepting the 10m offer a year out from the fight was silly since the events in 2017 could earn him a larger cut if he sticks it out and that literally just happened. Not even 2 months later that happened. Why not keep coasting?

But then what if GGG gets beat? He'll wish he took the 15 mill. Canelo doesn't need GGG to make money the same way GGG needs Canelo to make 15 mill.

I guess he'll just have to believe in himself and take the risk. Though Canelo could also get beat.

But Canelo has already been beat, he can make big money fighting rematches with Cotto ect. Who's GGG going to make 15 million fighting?

How exactly is that a low ball offer? What EXACTLY has the Bum King done to warrant more than that? 10 million was generous enough let alone 15 million.

Canelo isn't going to be making 30m in a rematch with Cotto so your point is moot.

I never said he was going to make 30 mill.. why would he go from 6 mill to 30 mill for Cotto? That doesn't make much sense does it? Thats just you being anxious to get a point in, but i dont think so...Obviously Canelo can still make big paydays without GGG, who's GGG going to make 15mill fighting? The answer is simple...NOBODY!
