yeah but I read that on ESPN.... I still feel the same way.. Margo takes on Cintron, Cotto and Clottey IN THE same year.. that speaks volumes. Dan can keep his blog :deal
any body watch Friday night fights a few weeks back when Dan Rafeal was a guest there and Shannon briggs said he wanted to take him in an alley and give him a beating ?
Funny thing is, Margarito gave Williams a shot when no one else would. Mayweather shamelessly avoided Williams and Margarito like Dracula avoids the sun. So now that Marg is in a good posistion again, he's expected to be the only one to fight Williams again? Why not Berto, or Mosely? And how about Williams stepping up and taking on somebody dangerous to increase the value of the rematch? The Marg-PW rematch would be a good fight, and I'd like to see it. But can Margarito be blamed for trying to cash in ?
there is no hypocrisy.. not figting Wiliams right NOW doesnt make him a hypcrite.. Dela just fought Forbes (tune up) and is finishing his career against a guy who started his career where? Marg had a tune up THREE fights ago and is now fighting ANOTHER title holder in the top five of the division. you know better Reg, I know you do.. :deal
Hoya has indicated that he will keep fighting after Pac. Neither one of these guys are fighting their stiffist available comp in their next fight. It doesn't make much sense for Margo to denegrate Hoya for not fighting him(especially considering Hoya will make more money against Pac), then turn around and ignore Paul's challenge. Nobody really has a problem wtih Margo fighting Clottey. The problem lies within Margo's harsh criticism towards Hoya when they're both chasing money fights.
Dans full of ****. Margo has had harder comp in his last fights than any other WW and has only lost 1 fight.
I'm talking about Margo going after Hoya. That's nothing but a money fight, just like Hoya vs. Pac. Both guys were going after money fights. Why would Margo begrudge Hoya when he did the same thing that Margo was doing?
