Because Margo is at least going after someone in a weight division higher, while Oscar is going after someone who just moved up three divisions lower.

So Margo was coming off a long layoff and was injured against Clottey still won. He was uninjured and coming offer a shorter stint of inactivity against Williams and lost. Somehow, you have come to the conclusion that Clottey is a tougher fight for Margo than Williams. Well, if you believe Clottey's hand problems were legit and were the reason that his activity level dropped off, you have a valid point. If you don't believe this, then your theory doesn't hold much water.

 

:think :think :think I see Dan's point, but then again, Margarito it's not taking on just a lower oponent... He is taking on Clottley which is a risk for Margarito as well in my eyes. If Margo comes out with a W against Clottley I can see him fighting PW for the anticipated rematch. Dan needs to calm down, the fact is that ODLH said that he was going to fight against the winner of Cotto vs Marg and he back down from that.

Dan's actually spoken very well of Margo in the past. Calling him the most feared man in boxing and saying he deserved a shot against PBF. Kinda funny that Margo fans are turning on him now.

 

even if Dela is still fighting.. he went from Forbes to Pac... C'mon man..

it does make sense for Margo to do what ever he wants...Dela said he wants the winner.. his trainer said Dela wants the winner.. Dela pretty much said in other words Ima give the winner 10 mil, cuz thats what you make fighting Dela....Margo

I think after watchiung PW lose to Quintana in the first fight and seeing how tough an opponent Clottey is, some feel Clottey is a tougher fight..

Clottey can probably beat Tony up where as PW, can more likely out box him like he did..
