Pacman's sparring rounds were so serious that his sparring partners were offered $1000 for a KD.

DLH sparring sessions were such that if somebody did get the best of him, they were let go...:-(

Does it matter what Rafael thinks?

The media's putting in some careful step-by-step apologism for the Golden Boy's loss...

    Next: Oskie's comeback.

GBP's PR machine is slowly and methodically rolling...

That is a crazy amount of rounds for Oscar to be sparring. I know what they were thinking... he has been too inactive, and needs to sharpen his skills. However, with the fact that he was cutting weight, and with his age... he never should have sparred that much.

Oscar with the "intensity" of his sparring sessions would have to spar 3 rounds to equal 1 of Manny's.

...by that standard, he didn't spar enough.

God knows what Dan is talking about, but it's all academic, because nobody is going to tell me that Oscar was in great condition. Whether it was because he was over-trained, dehydrated, or just plain shot, that was more like Carlos Baldomir than the Golden Boy. It's easier to give Pacquiao full credit because I've been on the forum long enough to realize that Oscar isn't very popular, but it is what it is. The sooner everybody acknowledges it, the better.

His age and the weight played a part. This was a miscalculation from Oscar and I'm not sure I want to see him in a ring again after the beating he took.

Oscar no doubt screwed up with the weight but still makes no difference to me. Pacman was immense.

Excuses, excuses. DLH just got his ass whooped by a better fighter at this point, as simple as that. DLH and his world class trainers should know exactly how to train properly.

true. I won't be suprised if both Mayweather and Hatton get pushed to the back of the line and we get Floyd Sr training DLH and the media sells us on the idea it was all Nacho's fault. Now cough up another 60 dollars for The Dream 2: Oscar Wakes Up. :rofl
