Dan Rafael reporting Hopkins-Adamek being discussed for HBO in July

It would be nice. But having this in May would be even better. Hopkins said after the Pavlik fight, that he's the best when he's active, therefore wanted to fight as early as Feb-March. July means another long layoff.

 

Interesting.Would be sad to see Hopkins end with a loss but on the other hand Adamek is a warrior himself.

 

Should be a good show, can't wait...

 

Imagine that. A cruiserweight title fight for B-HOP.

5 years down the line, he'll be engaging on his "final" fight against whoever has the undisputed heavyweight belt.

I'm for the old man on this one.

 

This is Adamek's chance to break the top 10 P4P.

And it's Hopkins chance to break into the top 30-40 P4P...of all time.

Great fight, hopefully it comes off and we see fireworks (AKA not too much holding and hitting from Nard).

Since making his infamous "white boy" comments, B-Hop may end his career by fighting 3 white guys in a row who were considered the best fighters in their respective divisions before fighting Hopkins. Anyway, this is a great fight. I'll be rooting for Hopkins of course, but I'm glad to see Adamek continuing to be a true champion and a ture credit to the sport by continuously taking on tough fights.

 

If Hopkins wins this fight, he is a top 30 ATG in my opinion. The guy is a revelation, a legend. I want this fight more than any other this year, and I will be praying for a B-Hop win.

 

I don't like this matchup for Adamek. Hopkins might be too crafty for Tomaz.

 

This would be welcome news if this is true and as the two fighters are true professionals,you probaly woun't even hear about negotiations until their completed,unlike the soap opera with the Wlad-Haye fight.A great last fight for Hopkins if he chooses to hang them up and a 50/50 one in my opinion.

 

I like both fighters and hate to see them square off. But I know it's too good of a fight not to make.
