May be over, or may be the most convenient excuse to take a few months off and legally get out of the tournament?

Not saying thats how it is, but I am most definitely not counting out the possibility of that being the sole reason of the pull out.

Still, if that's the case, I wish him well.

I'll be honest - I never liked Dirrell's style (even when he was more aggressive) and always rooted against him and was hoping Ward would knock him out...but it's hard for me to say good riddance with a clean conscience if there's a chance this neurological damage is caused by that illegal blow that Abraham landed.

That would just be a raw deal and no way for anyone to go out. :verysad

 

Well all the people saying how he faked this and that, looks like AA may have potentially ended Dirrell's career with his cheap shot.

 

This is a really ****ed up deal. If Abraham effectively ended Dirrell's career with a blatant foul, he should be banned from the sport for life.

I dont believe it. I don't even believe Dirrell's KO aginast AA was legit anymore.

 

While I agree Abraham was a muppet for throwing that illegal punch Dirrell milked it dry and it wasn't flush.

 

I'd be willing to bet my house that career threatened Dirrell makes a recovery just after Ward fights and goes on to have a long career....
