boxing cant even make its on sport more credible than the WWE these days, with a million belts, hack promoters, fighters **** on. theres no regulation. You cant ban someone for a foul like that anyway, he was penalized already by being DQ'd . what if dirrell falls down and breaks his kneee ? he gonna try to sue abraham next? its unfortunate and i will be amazed if his career is ruined by one punch , regardless if he was ready or not.... if seen guys get hit 10 times harder and ready or not its just as much damage

Look at Mendy ...he falls right on his face
Now look at Dirrell he leans forward ...but he doesn't fall on his face he moves towards the ropes than to his left puts both hands on his face and start rolling on the floor

How can you end up with neurological damage with a concussion? Can anyone answer this question?

AA hits hard but the draw back of his arm and the low angle has little or no purchase, use your eyes ffs.

Because he wouldn't have beat Ward like he beat Stevens. Maybe he realizes that Ward was going to hit him a lot more often than Froch or Abraham did.

And to be fair, he sure did have deja vu against Froch. Abraham to a lesser degree later in the fight.

Hey *******, you can be knocked out and still be moving on the ground. Watch footage of Willard-Johnson or Hearns-Duran for perfect examples.

The fact is that if Dirrell ko was for real he sould've been flat on his face .... just like Mendy
And he shouldn't been capable to move his body back towards the ropes and then to the left putting his both hands on his face. End of discussion

Stop pretending like you know the neurological symptoms of a knockout. Have you ever received a blow to the head in any sport before, or received a concussion? It's thought to be damage to your brain stem caused by a sharp rotation to the head.

Your idea of a knockout is not qualified as absolute under any academia, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

If you guys think the injury is serious, you must be really naive. I mean come on. How a weak little arm punch like that can cause neurological problems.

Dirrell received brain scan immediately after his fight with Abraham and he was totally fine,no concussion or anything. Dirrell himself said that he has totally recovered after the Green-Ward fight. Why does he has to wait all this time to withdraw from the tourney?

It makes no sense at all. Dirrell is clearly disgusting, blaming Abraham for his withdrawal.
He lacks courage. I hope the rematch with Abraham happens and this time Abraham KO him legally and teaches him a lesson.

"We took him to a doctor and then a neurologist. When we took him to the neurologist, he was alarmed. He said Andre wasn't fit to fight right now. Before he would even consider letting him fight, he would need three months symptom-free. It would get to the point where Andre would have to sit down. He couldn't lay down because [the symptoms] would get worse."

3 MONTHS?! I dont buy that a doctor said that. No doctor would recommend him fighting again...ever.

Regardless of what heppend to Dirrell, Abraham was already DQ'd. The damage done. NO point in bringing up Abraham, since nothing new will be discovered.

Yes. If that IS the case then I'd agree. However, the blow that AA landed didn't seem especially hard and I would have thought that if it HAD caused some sort of brain problem, it would have been picked up well before now

keep in mind theres a reason why not even ufc allows you to hit a man on his knees
imagine a boxing hitting someone on thier knees.
