No point of arguing with you. You seem to know everything going on behind the scenes. You are also a biomechanics expert and can judge the force of impact with a 100% accuracy just by seeing it on tv.

All you have is personal assumptions. If a real doctor said that he shouldn't be fighting then then he should take that advice, and what you feel he should do is meaningless.

Dirrell acted the KO, cant believe there are people here who still cant see that..WATCH THE FIGHT, its comically obvious what he did. There is NOTHING wrong with the guy other than knowing another loss would screw his career

It's baffling to me, even as someone who hates Dirrell (as a fighter) as much as anyone - that people are actually clinging to the "he faked being hurt" nonsense and greeting this tragic news with skepticism.

Once a full report comes out I will be more than willing to conceed he is injured but I will never change my opinion that it wasn't from a slight glancing blow to the jaw.
I have stated in other threads a pre-existing problem, dehydration or an accumlation of punches recieved, but not that little clip.

I'm baffled as well by the type of mentality that has complete disregard for a fighter's health and complaints, and wants them to fight at any cost.

It's sickening. No fighter today can be hurt without dipshits claiming he's faking. Imagine that, a guy who's job it is to fight sustains an injury to his head. Crazy!?!?! :nut

I do agree it is tragic, and as one poster says, I hope it is all lie. Anything else would be really devastating.

I'm not into consipracy theories nor do I see dead people, but it is impossible not to be sceptical to this news when you know all the background. I could go on explaining it all over again, but you know it all. It's just odd and leaves a bad taste, especially the accusation of AA.

:huh u got it mixed up mate, Kessler never blamed it on anyone, he even said the problems started BEFORE Ward fight. Only stupid dumbass fans could claim smth like that, and you don't see much different, to be honest. :hi:

Just bare in mind that the punch Abraham landed, whilst not being a huge punch, was totally unexpected and undefended, in the 11th round of the fight. The most dangerous thing for a fighter is not necessarily a solitary big punch, but the accumulation of brain trauma.

    From Dirrell's own trainer

    http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2010/10/0...and-dizziness/

"Has Andre been able to spar since the symptoms began?

Not at all. We haven't been in the gym since the

fight. To tell you the truth, Andre is the heaviest that he's ever been. That's something that we're looking at also. Andre is walking around at around 190-something.

That's something, because Andre usually walks around at just around 170-something"

So sparring couldn't have exasperated anything and after the fight they ran all the tests and found nothing, no concussion, nothing. :?

If things were so bad that he hadn't even been training why would they have been negotiating the venue and everything for the past 2+ months? Alot of this **** doesn't make sense.

You know what is hard for me to understand? It's difficult to understand how someone as moronic as you are can actually turn on a computer, and log on to the internet. Let me guess; you're an idiot savante, right?

What Dirrel is doing in a ring is not legal or safe boxing. He takes huge steps, actually running and not defending. He gives jabs with his legs spred so wide he falls on is own or end up in a clinch wiche prevent counter punchs because he is no longer in punching position. When caught in the ropes he gets out running by is opponent without jabbing or protecting on is way true. Its surprising he did not receive arms or elboy shots more often. Good refereeing would punish him when he falls on is own. Preventing frustration from boxers who expect to fight another boxer. However i believe the injury reel and is a sad thing. Its even more sad that he as never learned to stand and move in a boxing position and that many people see it as speed and even cleverness.

On another note, i wonder if Ward title will be on the line against the substitute. If so, imagine that he lose the fight(weird thing and bad outing do happen to anyone in boxing), then going to the semi-finals make no sens for him as is opponent could be out of the tournament with is belt.
