Well, thinking back to the Jan 2010 negotiations. They were actually planning for a March fight, IIRC. That wouldve left them 2 months of promotion. But, I understand your point. More time is better. However, this one needs very little promotion, IMO.

 

Why? Do you see Álvarez not as good as people seem to think HE is, or maybe Cotto being an illusion of his former self and at too high a weight. Or something completely different?
