It has been obvious since day 1 with the constant unprecedented roadblocks by Floyd that Floyd never wanted this fight and has been ducking Pacquiao to protect his fake 0 and avoid this risk

You have to be a complete moron to not see that

There's been no word at all from Floyd. Everything From Pac side seems open and they're finally putting it in the open so there's not much speculation. All we've heard from Floyd is a few demands to save face, then back into the darkness.

Floyd has pointed the finger at Pac before.. most of us thought it was bull. Now we see what it is, when Floyd got put on blast....

is floyd supposed to update fans of his negotiations? Has any fighter ever updated fans of negotiations?

I mean this is all a big game of PR chess. I for 1 refuse to buy in any more. Theyve been doing this sh!t for like 4 years already and I don't even care any more who's fault it is.

It really doesn't matter. If they aren't making the fight I don't even want to see either of them fight, neither guy will take a fight they can lose to be 100% honest so why even buy in? Floyd fight pac... Pac fight floyd... if not retire, I really don't give a $$$$ about either of their careers, resumes, legacies. They are multimillionaires and nobody on this board is. We are just boxing fans.

Pacquiao fans let me ask you an honest question. Is Floyd solely to blame for the fight not happening during the first round of negotiation 5 years ago? Is Pacquiao not at fault?

Yea, I've followed Floyd since before he won his first title. Followed Pac since seeing him against Ledwaba.

15 years ago two of my favorite fighters, and I never thought they'd cross paths. But this fight not getting made has made me lose a lot of love for the sport. When the biggest and most lucrative fight can't be made, I know how many other smaller meaningful fights won't be either.

It's a ****ty trend to set... And yea at some point both guys take the blame

No. But Dan Rafael is in-the-know, at least to some extent. If his sources were saying "things are looking positive and it seems both sides want the fight" - it would be a lot more promising than reports of "one way traffic" and Les Moonves efforts "not getting anywhere".

    Make sense?

As someone who just wants to see the fight, and isn't a particularly huge fan of Pac or Floyd, there is plenty of blame all around from Floyd, Pac, and the people surrounding them both. They both bottled it on numerous occasions in a variety of ways.

But once again, the hype for the fight possibly happening has reached a feverish pitch. I'm disappointed that neither guy seems to be actively looking for it, letting the world know "I want it - any place, any time - and I'm willing to make concessions".

Neither has ever done that, and despite Pacquiao seemingly to genuinely push for the fight this time - he isn't really doing all that he could, either. But at least according to reports from reputable sources (and I do personally consider Rafael reputable with a proven track record), Pac's side is trying on some level.

Whatever happened in the past, who cares.

But we can confidently say, based on Rafael's reports, that Floyd is the one who seems more reluctant to make the fight this time (at least at this juncture).

This makes sense, too. Floyd is the one (barring the ridiculous financial gain - if that's something that can even reasonably be overlooked) who has more to lose.

I hope he steps up and makes the fight. He's the A-side and he, and he alone, has the power to MAKE the fight happen if he truly wants it.

Thats just one mans report and bascially it doesnt say Mayweather has said no. Hes chillin for the holidays and does what he does. do you really care if its signed today or Valentines day?? So Mayweather is not saying much..does he have to? pacquiao better sit there and wait because hes planning on fighting Vargas which is a damn disgrace and another 300k buys so he better just sit there and let the man take his time
