If FM says" if you can fight, a couple of lbs. won't make a difference", wtfk is he bitching about Canelo making his OWN weight? Also, why worry about 2lbs. at the weighin, when you'll be dealing with a LOT more when the bell rings?

No one gives a **** about boxing in the U.S. Just cause fans are showing interest in THIS fight doesn't change that. I'm listening to ESPN radio in Los Angeles right now, on the eve of the fight, and not one mention of it. Any other major sport would get a ton of air time, like the Superbowl or World Series or NBA Finals, etc. Boxing is a side show, a niche sport. Nothing more. Sad but true.

So all that money being made means what?...the sport is dead just like ESPN said?

ESPN doesn't cover a sport they don't have a financial stake in, real shocking.

It's a niche sport. Doesn't matter of THIS fight is getting some attention. Most people don't give a sh*t about boxing and that's just the truth. Even for this fight, ESPN will do a 5 minute clip on the highlights of this fight, interview fat Dan or Atlas and then move on to other mainstream sports.
