In his defense he was deep into a Triple Cheese Burger during the first half of the fight...
& most of the middle rounds.
(Then Arum handed him his scorecard to copy)

In all honesty I had it 114-113 for Cotto.
On fight night I was screaming "Robbery" But after watching again...
The KD in rd one won the fight for Cotto by 1+ on my card.
(Both got +6 rds a piece, IMO)

I was really suprised by this because I respect him more than most boxing analysts, idk I guess he just doesn't like the way Clottey fights.

His scrorecards are always bad in competitive fights much like Harold Ledderman's scorecards. You're better off just reading his articles and not paying attention to his absurb scorecards... and you're also better off hitting the mute button whenever Ledderman opens his big, loud, yap on HBO.

He is full of it! The fight was very close, one point either way for either man would not have been a big deal.

That's exactly how I scored it. It was such a close fight on the cards...could have honestly gone either way. Clottey deserves a rematch in a neutral location.

Dan Rafael is a good resource on breaking news, rumors, inside infos and other ****, so I regularly visit ESPN.

Dan Rafael fails as an 'expert' twice as miserably as James Toney fails steroid tests.

You can say what you want about the decision in last week's Miguel Cotto-Joshua Clottey fight. Some folks thought Clottey won; more people I have encountered since the fight thought Cotto won. I had it 116-111 (like one of the official judges) for Cotto, and have no doubt in my mind that he was the rightful winner of the fight, which I watched closely from the middle of Row 1, just a few feet from the ring apron.

When I got home, I rewatched the fight twice on my DVR, and there was one round in the middle of the fight that I scored for Cotto that I might consider changing to a Clottey round. But whatever you think of the decision, one thing I think we can all agree on is that Cotto showed immense heart in a fight against an excellent opponent.
