Does anyone actually think Al Haymon is going to put Mitchell in with either Klitschko? Maybe when Wlad is like 40, but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

I would imagine some more 8-figure paydays with packed soccer stadiums. Why would anyone want to stop doing that if they could keep doing it?

  2. Seth wont be ready until end of 2013 but that is fine with me.

Stiff Mitchell is as ready as he will ever be.

Yanks will try and wait until the Klits retire before trying to get him a title shot because thats the only hope for Mitchell, the bum.

Even Adamek would KO that fraud

yeah I don't think mitchell can compete with wlad if wlad is going to hug him whenever he's not at the end of his jab.

Yeah, that's cool. Mitchell seems like a decent guy.

thats the problem with the HW division. they rush these young up and coming fighters with title shots when theyre not even ready. Arreola is a perfect example.

Mitchell has never gone past 6 rounds. He needs to go at least 10 twice in my oppinion before he is remotely ready (oh, and it has to be against decent opposition too).

He thinks Arreola IS ready for (and deserving of) a shot at Wlad, though - so this "respected columnist" has **** for credibility when it comes to heavyweight contenders. :yep

    ^ All true, but -

Mitchell has more of a chance, right now, than Mormek did last night.

Vlad mentioned Mitchell as an opponent in the future. Vitali or Vlad will knock Mitchell out, Mitchell is made for them...............

Of course. I actually think he seriously has more chance than Arreola. :yep

"Oh but Arreola is so aggressive and powerful and with Wlad's chin he's got that puncher's chance...:blabla"

No. This is one of those cases where a 'puncher's chance' is just a polite way of saying that he is 99.99% likely to lose but could conceivably land something big enough to trigger a panic attack/meltdown.

When it comes to fundamentals and technical skill, Mitchell is already beyond Arreola.

Mitchell will never be ready for the Klitschkos. Seth can't block a right hand, and he can't box in the open. K Bros. KO Seth within 3 rounds, easily.
