    Why's everyone ripping Shaw?

Because he constantly tries to dictate what fighters belonging to other promoters should do and who they should face (same thing he's accusing Khan of), whilst keeping his own guy away from Alexander. And what's his reason for this? They're both American; thus deserving to have their own fight built up.

**** Shaw. Bradley deserves to be in the hands of a better promoter, one that would have got him the status he deserves by now

Im a huge Bradley fan but this was clearly a way for Shaw to stall a Bradley/Alexander from happening anytime soon. HBO is demanding it, Alexander is calling them out and Alexander gets brought up in every Bradley interview. Team Bradley feels the pressure and is desperately looking for other alternatives without looking bad.

Shaw is the biggest ****ing hypocrite...

He talks all day long on how Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, and all the others dont want none of Bradley, and that that is the kind of thing that is killing boxing, and blah blah, and then when Alexander is brought up, he actually tries making fun of how much Alexander wants to fight Bradley... but says that the 'times not right'. So its ok for YOUR boy to turn down fights, but not anyone else... Shaw is just as much of whats wrong with boxing as anything else.

    **** Shaw

However, this tourny would have been awsome.... and what these dumbasses dont seem to get, is their fighters would probably wind up with a bigger name afterwards, win lose or draw, then they are going to get fighting a bunch of fights nobody really wants to see while waiting for the 'time to be right'.

Boxing can learn a lot from the S.6 and its fighters..... you put six of the best 140lbers out there, have HBO market this thing like crazy, and all of them become bigger stars then they are now.

did you guys bother reading the article? Shaw had NOTHING to do with it being nixed. He PROPOSED the idea.

500,000 bucks? wow, that's NOT a lot but its definitely better than no tournament.

The only ones hating on Shaw are the ******ed khan-nuthuggers who want to defend their pathetic hope who wants an easy route to the prize. Tell me in what sport tourny does the #1 and #2 seed face off in the first round with the winner facing the winner of the #3 and #4 paring. **** makes no sense.

Yup. That proposed tournament is actually a pretty clever idea--in my opinion. I guess GBP is not allowing Khan in a very competitive tourney. Shame....

Yup. Extra $500,000 JUST for the fighter, not a bad perk.

I agree. I think Alexander beats him.

Just finished the article where it asserts that Khan and GBP want nothing to do with Alexander or Bradley. I guess he'll have to get use to being called "Khan Job" again.

Alexander beats him all...........instead line them up for DA starting with Amir Con who gets wrecked, then Bradley who does a little better and then Maidana who gets wrecked and then Ortiz who runs like hell gets tagged then quits. DA beats them all, line em up. If you are as avoided as DA, there is something there good for us fans. Thing is, NONE of those I mentioned want a piece of him. But Con is so busy ducking Maidana he might come up for air and find DA staring across from him.

**** what they wrote. Doesn't change the point I'm making. If you have a tourny 1 and 2 dont fight off the bat and make a easy road for 3 or 4. Shaw even left it up to chance with a random drawing, yet Khan still ran away.

Hold up from a marketing standpoint it will be big ..I nothing wrong in what he said .And if it were to mirror the super six all that crap about who should fight would have been sorted out ..At least these guys would of had to fight each other regardless in this tourney ..

I like Devon Alexander, but I think he's overrated. he beat Junior "The Quitter" Witter and beat Juan Urango decisively. Let's see him in a few more big fights before anointing him the best at 140.
