I'm guessing Bute won't ask anywhere near as much money as Kessler would?

i don't see why everyone is demanding that Taylor be rushed in against Kessler. Taylor only has 1 win in his last 3 fights and 1 fight at the SMW limit. Bute is the more logical step forward at this point.

A win over Lacy doesn't get him ready for a fight with Kessler ..I hope the Bute fight is made soon ..

Forget Kessler. Apparently, he's too good to fight no name Amercans like Chad Dawson, as well as European fighters like Carl Froch, and Lucian Bute. He also values paper titles moreso than he does fighting Miranda on Showtime, in the States. Taylor-Bute would be a good fight. The winner should face The Froch/Pascal winner. Meanwhile, Kessler can continue fighting the Sartison's and Haussler's of the world until someone worthy enough comes along.

Kessler is a no name in the U.S. He's known as the guy with the tatoos that Calzaghe beat up. He was presented with a couple of more chances to build his name here and passed. Bute fights out of Canada and is probably more known to fight fans in the U.S.

I guess a fight with Bika could make sense for Kessler if it can be made in the USA.

He does both. He won the belt and made his first title defense on a national network. He got 1.2 million viewers in Quebec which is about the same as what Hockey or the other big tv events gets.

I have no idea what the PPV numbers are.

Actually, he had lots of PPV earlier in his career. The Berrio and Joppy fights were on National tv tho.

Firstly. You are a hard man on Sartison. He wasn't that bad IMO. Give the man a chance and let's see how he fares in the future. Personally I believe he has some talent and at least should not be used to ditch Kessler.

Secondly. I don't think Kessler has been presented with good opportunities in the US risk-reward wise. We saw how Miranda was treated by Abraham and Abraham is a European fighter. From this point of view one could argue that better offers are available in Europe unless we talk names like Taylor, Hopkins, Pavlik, RJJ or perhaps Dawson.

''Loved by few, hated by many....but respected by all''.Taylor ain't even a champ and the belt he wears around his waist has nothing to do with youre hate for him.90% of champions today are paper champs....doesn't mean anything
