Col. Bob Sheridan called it a one point fight for Donaire, so this actually isn't the worst card of the bunch. In truth, there were maybe three rounds that were pretty close (2nd, 4th, and 7th). I personally only gave Donaire the 2nd and 10th, but I could see a judging giving Nonito up to four rounds (I could also see cards that had Rigo up 11-1, of course). Pretty clear victory for Chacal, imo.
that fat peace of **** doesnt know boxing. nonito won 4 rounds at very best, anybody who scored higher knows ****.
Funny thing is that if you happen to give Donaire those four rounds, then your card would be 115-112, which isn't that far off Fat Dan's. This is one of those fights where the cards don't necessarily reflect how dominant Rigo was in the ring.
exactly, on top I said that it was 4 rounds at very best, meaning it was more like 2 or 3 rounds, but realy of you wanna be gentle than 4 at very best. so 115-112 is by far the best score you can give for donaire, 114:113 is just rigo hater or non boxing followers, who think chasing somebody and getting hit in the face constantly scores more points than actualy landing and making miss, what rigo did all night to donaire.
I swear that brunette's dentures were sticking out so much I almost thought she was going to yell "Wilburrrr!" I thought I was watching Mr. Ed.
114-113 was just.. Ugh. I love boxing to death, but this is just humiliating and it disgusts me scoring of this type you just can never get used too so you must imagine the fighters. Nonito earned 2 rounds at most and they were close ones. Being that he was the champ.
Was Dan in attendance? I think those in attendance maybe weren't seeing the action the way we did on tv. Rigondeaux was making Donaire miss A LOT. Maybe they thought Donaire was landing more, because there is no justification in a 114-113 card. John Stewart has no excuse as he was right there. Still he had no television monitor, but goddamn. How could anyone not see that as a one-sided boxing lesson?!
Rigo wasn't throwing but one punch at a time and the punch stats were awful. I have seen 2 national Boxing writers call the fight 'boring' which it seems the crowd agreed. It was not a good fight.
Rafael's only relevant function is to break news. I've never had any use for his analysis of the sport.
Corrupt??????????????? They all gave the fight to Rigo?? You think someone paid them off to make the fight CLOSE????
