He did beat Marquez in a close one, great win, but those robberies sure look good on a resume years later don't they. They are the gifts that just keep giving. Canelo fans get it.

Having Cotto and Bradley in is ridiculous when they're over the likes of Roman, Laciar, Toney, Moon and such.

Which means he did "not" in fact clean out the JWW division. I definitely think he "would've" beat Khan and I don't blame him for going after Pac (great decision) but missing the other titlist is a problem. Even Danny can fall back on the fact that he was undisputed at the weight.

Marquez was not a WW and didn't have the physical gifts of a Pac or Floyd to compensate for his diminutive size at the weight.

I like Bradley, he gave everything in the ring but the fact remains he was top dog in only 1 division. At WW he was never the top dog (even with the dubious win, it was fairly clear Pac was better, also Floyd). He had a warrior's career, but not a HOF one. Also, there are no less than 12 guys on the list that should be granted a nod before him that fat Dan doesn't have an "x" by.

We are talking greatness. Tito fought and beat great fighters. Lil G did not.

its cultural. it maximizes everything. fighters are more incentivized to build resume so they can become immortal, along with the greats. expands the subculture, gaining legitimacy, generating additional interest.
    its how we roll.

We've also got more hall of famers than anywhere else. Makes it easier to care when you are the one winning all of the time. I can see why other places don't get as enthusiastic about the boxing hall of fame or Olympics if they are never in it to win it and are just the occasional also ran. We don't give a **** about soccer here either.

Bradley's warrior performance vs Provodnikov earned him HOF status for me. Many greats go an entire career without digging down that deep and showing that kind of fighting spirit.
