That was the biggest money fight of the history. Ward might get there but I don't think Stevenson will. Ward-Kovalev would be bigger and more exciting anyways.

Good move by Ward. I don't know what Ward currently weighs but having to cut a lot of weight in just over 6 weeks isn't good.

Ward will clear up at LHW I believe.

    Pascal, Stevenson, Kovalev.

I hope Ward can do something to increase his punching power. He will need it to stop these guys from trying to walk straight thru him.:boxing1

Seems like I heard the same thing about Mayweather. Ward hits more than hard enough to keep people from walking through him. Froch certainly didn't walk through him and Ward had a busted hand.

Unfortuantely, if rumours are true for Ward the only fight at LHW is Kovalev. Stevenson and Beterbiev are with Haymon. There are some big players on the rise though for those who have been keeping up with the division.

I'll pull a bailey here, I'll copy-paste from one of my threads......

Fights that can't be made for Ward:

    Haymon
    Stevenson
    Beterbiev
    Alvarez
    Fonfara
    Shumenov
    Williams Jr
    Browne

    Sauerland / other Euro promoters
    Braehmer
    Oosthuizen
    Cleverly
    Mohammedi
    Skoglund

....so. What are viable options where A) ROC/Haymon isn't an issue and B) a passport is not required?

    -Sergey Kovalev (Main Events)
    -Isaac Chilemba (Main Events)
    -Jean Pascal (GYM)

Well, we'll get some in-house Haymon fights at some point - my guess, Alvarez beats Chilemba close but clear on pts and fights Stevenson mid 2016, probably after Stevenson rematches Fonfara.

Haymon will try and sneak one of Kovalev's belts to Beterbiev after the upcoming fight Artur will be part of (final eliminator, IBF).

Ward is gonna be stuck fighting the Cornelius Whites of the world until he gets to Sergey.......

Honest?? :rofl The amount of lies, hypocrisy and utter BS that comes out of that goofy dog-faced clown and his cancerous vulture trainer's mouth is beyond comical.
