A bitter old fat ****. He needs to give more respect to fighters. Wanker doesn't deserve the high profile job he's got. Guys like Kieran Mulvaney and Kevin Iole put him to shame.

After his behaviour towards Briggs, ESPN should be ashamed to employ him.

Journalist's have agendas. They favour the fighters that are accessible to them and work from that angle.

Rafael would have written a totally different view had one of his favourite fighters turned a title fight on it's head like Burn's did last night.

The comments regarding Briggs are all correct to say he would of liked to see that fight go 15 rounds are a joke.Had it of done & a ring tragedy occurred he would of toed the party line saying it should of been stopped earlier.

Iole is awful. Not sure when he started the slide towards the madman he is now. Rafael is the latest in the line of "opinion journos" who spend their time saying provocative things rather than discussing the sport.

He is biased and over rated, like many of these US big mouths. Some of the writers at sweet science are very good though, one of the few notable US sites that I would read.

My problem with Fat Dan, is just that, he is disgustingly fat. It sickness me that he has even has the audacity to leave the house in that condition let alone put himself in the media and in the public eye.

The fact he commentates on a sport where the participants are in extremely good physical condition just rubs salt in the wounds.

If you cut him, he would bleed gravy.

Because I like my job and I didn't have to spend fifteen years being paid peanuts for filing stories about Third Division football to make a name for myself. It's a shitty business to work in.

Cliff Rold, Montoya, Michael Woods, Graham Houston, Thomas Hauser, Donald MacRae, all guys I really like reading.

Dan's also claiming the Mcdonnell-Ceja fight was 'contraversial'.
