As far as boxing goes...I might just have to catch it on the free replay on the following weekend on regular HBO. Just cant see myself paying or chipping in on boxing...Pacman\Clottey, I might watch if somebody orders it but if Floyd does fight Campbell or Paulie...I'm not watching PERIOD!:bart

Your just flat out wrong.
If Floyd were fighting Clottey I wouldnt have anything bad to say about that choice of opponet. Clottey is a welterweight, he is in his prime, and he is dangerous, for anyone he will ever fight. You can make bogus claims all you want, fact is that would have been an honorable choice of opponet for either of them.
Get out of the bull**** mindset that everything Floyd does is drug through the mud simply because he is Floyd. When Pac was talking about fighting Foreman he was getting trashed on this site. That was a stupid fight that he had no business going after. Floyd is talking about fighting Campbell/Paulie/Bradley (however true that is), and they are stupid fights. Marquez was a stupid fight for FLoyd, he had no business being in the ring with Mayweather and you know it. If Floyd fights someone like Willaims or Martinez, or even Luis Colazo or Margarito or if he would have chosen Clottey then noone could say anything bad about it because those are good opponets. But look who is being named as possible opponets: Nate Campbell, Paulie Malanaligi, Tim Bradley. Come on, none of those guys belong in the ring with Floyd, and you know it

 

God I hope so. If Vera beats Jones this kills another prospect and would deal another blow to MMA

 

:yep but how Vera fights you'll never know...From what I've seen of Jones, he's a beast and has the tools to do a lot of damage to Vera...If Vera shows up and do his thing I can see him causing Jones problems...None the less...going to be a DAMN good fight!:good

 

Baldomir was a limited title holder, but I agree you can defend this one.

Judah had lost to Baldomir and was not considered an elite. He didn't fight Margarito (despite big money offer) and has not expressed much interest in Mosley or any interest at all in Williams.

Floyd has cherrypicked his way through the division in shameful fashion considering how much **** he talks.

 

I know, and I was such a huge fan of Vera. I thought he beat Couture, but his loss to Sylvia and Jardine were just so dissapointing. The werdum loss is acceptable. He just lacks killer instinct and I hate it. Jones though, that dude is a killer.

 

I agree man, Vera has so many tools but I just fear he doesn't have enough inside him to be great. I have seen a lack of killer instinct in him.

 

You make it seem like I don't care for Floyd for no reason at all. I would love to see Floyd fight Paulie...I think Paulie is a very entertaining fighter and a tougher fight for Floyd than most realize. I actually used to be a interested observer of Floyd's career...not so much any longer.

Since his close call against JLC, Floyd has jumped around from weightclass to weightclass for the past 8 years refusing to fight the best of 140, 147, and 154 in their respected weight classes. I have no interest in seeing a guy who hand-picks his opponents.

His refusal to fight Pac is just par for the course.

 

If Manny is SuperMan, why didn't he offer to fight PW @ 147?

 

I get where your coming from.
I personally feel like no one fight is bigger than boxing. Boycotting fights because one fight didnt fall through says that boxing live or dies based off of one fight.
I can definitely see where your coming from if we have a fighter that constantly does **** like this, or refuses to participate in the big fights he should be participating in. I think Pac has given us far too much boxing greatness to abandon his fights until we get the one we want, you know?

Vera is one of the biggest waste of talent in the history of MMA. Everytime he puts strikes together, he hurts his opponents. Ive watched every fight of him. He hurt Werdum, He had Sylvia, He almost broke Jardines legs, He had Randy reeling from the body kick. What did he do in each instance?? Oh Ive won this fight, Im gonna play it safe nowatsch
