Not only that, but how about the notion that the whole fight, headbutts & sucker punch, were completely staged. PBF could have paid Ortiz a few extra $mil$ to go for the idea.

    WHy do something like that???

To ensure that PBF gets another win, with absolutely no chance for Ortiz to hurt Floyd.

    Mayweather is obsessed with Pac.

Pac is the #1 draw in the sport.

Just count up their career PPVs. That's the number that really matters.

no, average # of PPV buys per show is a better gauge.

not really, both are equal gauges.

best selling artists are not usually gauged by average sales per album but by total sales.

How are they possibly equal gauges if they don't fight an equal number of PPVs? Is an artist that sells one album total with 10,000,000 sales the #2 draw in music because another artist sells 11 albums total with 1,000,000 sales each (total 11,000,000 sales)?

In the entertainmet biz, the second artist with 11 million sales would be called the bigger selling artist, while the first artist with 10 millions sales form one album would be called a one-album wonder.

You have to take into account consistency because while it is not easy to sell 10 million of a single album, it is also not easy to consistently sell 1 million for each album every year for 10 years, assuming the artist releases 1 album a year. The point is that the average sales is not be all end all.

Being that Floyd sells the most ppvs per fight, 13,000 seats is still a lot of fans for a fight.

floyd holds the biggest ppv fight in history. Pac can't touch that. Ironically if floyd and pac do fight, floyd will hold the 2 biggest ppv fights in history :rofl

    All roads lead to mayweather.

But it's easy to change those numbers so that both have a large body of work, one that sells more per album and another with lower per album sales but more albums produced. Mayweather has far fewer fights in the past few years. It's easy to say that Pacquiao has sold more PPVs because he's fighting more, but I think it's a poor way to judge who is the biggest draw.

The truth of the matter is that (in the US) they essentially have the same drawing power. The same people that are buying Pacquiao PPVs are largely buying Mayweather PPVs and vice versa.

I wonder if Floyd will sue for defamation like Pussyao.
