Dan Raphael retired as a pundit years ago.

He makes a living these days a Pacquiao fan fluffer.

Tickling their balls, for light relief, when they're having a bad day.

I'd say it's almost certainly just a quite obvious smear. To brighten up the lives of *******s, and get him another 10'000 Tweet followers from deepest darkest Mongolia

Haha, you should look up the word "irony" somewhere.

All Pacquiao, his managers, his fans, his trainers, do, for 350 days a year (they have a weekend off) is discuss Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao's best ever PPV sale, doesn't even match Mayweather's average for the last 5 years...................:patsch

:D He's a well known liar, who just sits in the Top Rank camp, feeding out their PR for them.

His "Nevada sources" will be a marketing guy in Top Rank promotions

    First of all, you're wrong.

    Pac did 1.3M against Mosley.

Floyd's average over the last 5 years is less than that, unless Floyd vs Ortiz goes really high.

Second, Pac has way more PPV sales over the last five years than Floyd.

    talk about irony.

Can I tell you how bad a smear this is.

Promoters/Boxers generally buy EVERY ticket to their events.

When Pacquiao fights, a combination of himself, Arum, and his business partners will buy EVERY ticket immediately, at wholesale price.

They then sell them, in stages, to the ticket agents, adding on 10% in commission, to make sure availability is staggered, and prices remain inflated, right up until the day of the event.

This ensures the event is "sold out" very fast in the media, to give it a high profile. And allows them to ensure that no fans get access to the wholesale price other than themselves.

It's probably 100% true Mayweathers people bought a lot of tickets. They probably bought them all.

But that doesn't mean they did it for the reasons Dan is trying to insinuate.

As I said, either Dan doesn't know anything about boxing, or he's pleading ignorance, to play media games.

He's a top rank stooge after all

Floyd's financial advisor must have mis-counted the number of available seats by 3000.:patsch

Mayweather's average PPV sale, since (and including De la Hoya) is 1.51 million.

Floyd has the world record PPV sale

Floyd has the European record PPV sale

Floyd has the two biggest ever PPV sales that don't include De la Hoya or Tyson

And the only reason Manny can claim he's sold more PPVs over the last 5 years, is the simple fact he's fought about 300 times since then, to pay off his debts, as the guys broke:hi:

The biggest draw in boxing is Floyd. 13,000 seats is a lot for a fight. Floyd against common opponents of Pacquiao shits all over Pacquiaos ppv sales.

What are you even basing this on.

Some, random Tweet, from a guy who spends most of the year talking anti mayweather crap.

Anyone with a brain knows, Dan Raphael, usually starts putting crap into the media from "unnamed sources" right around the time Mayweathers hogging the headlines.

He'd just be honest write "bob arum", but nobody would believe the story:lol:

Do you want to know why?

As Mayweather and Ortiz also sold out.

Raphaels just talking out of his ass
