Msoley didn't test positive, but because of the whole Balco investigation we now know that he was using undetetectable roids at the time.. and you could even make a case that Mosley is more guilty than Margo because Shane actually used the roids during the fight, while Margo didn't even get the chance to use his loaded wraps thus keeping his oppoenent from getting harmed.

Like I said, both are guilty and both should be dealt with accordingly.

Well, their tests didn't pick anything up and I'm not convinced that whatever he took helped him in that fight at all, so what are you gonna do? Anyway if I was gonna cheat I'd take loaded wraps over steroids any day of the week because I know for a fact that loaded wraps actually work.

 

Margo didn't go into the fight with the wraps because he got caught. It's not like he changed his mind and decided to fight fair on his own. He's still trying to lie about it. They didn't catch Mosley doing **** at the time, so I guess they couldn't do anything, or maybe they just don't want to.

 

Indeed and a bit on the nose and on the flip side, Mosley just got away with his cheating by NOT getting caught. I wont lie, I would take performance enhancing drugs when the stakes are so high. It's human nature. All fighters cheat whether its punching the back of the head,hitting low, or other methods. Ours has and will always be a dog eat dog world.

If your going to **** on Margo for being a cheat, then so to the others should be called out.

We now know what he took so what the tests did or did not pick up is irrelevant here.

And did you not see the difference in Mosley from the 1st Oscar fight to the 2nd? In their first encounter Shane was clearly the smaller, weaker man who never really hurt De la Hoya with any single shot... switch over the the 2nd fight and somehow Mosley miraculously appeared to be the stronger man despite the fact that the fight took place one division higher than the previous fight.... the evidence for that is the fact that Shane was all of a sudden hurting Oscar towards the end of the fight with every big haymaker he landed. So clearly the roids did help.

And I gotta tell ya, because of that, Mosley on roids makes him just as big a scumbag as Margarito because the stronger you are the more severe damage you can inflict on your opponent. Just the same way the more loaded your wraps are the more damage you can inflict as well. There is no difference here, so quit trying to defend the fan favorite, Mosley. Both cheated, both tried to put their opponents' in serious danger, and both should be reprimanded. Margo just was, now it's Shane's turn.

It is disturbing that Margarito's corneman was able to load a foreign object into his gloves with CSAC offials standing right there watching him the entire time! Richardson had them rewrap the gloves 3 times.

I think there should be a national boxing commision to monitor nonsense like this.

 

:think Indeed. Rules are in place for a reason but it is human nature to cheat and be biased.

While it does happen, it does not make it right either.
