Arlovski has one fight left on his current contract, and if there’s anything history tells us, it’s that the UFC won’t schedule a fighter of Arlovski’s stature for that last fight until a contract renewal in place. However, neither UFC President Dana White nor Arlovski’s camp sound especially confident about a deal getting done soon. In fact, neither side really talked about a deal at all. That can’t possibly be a good sign for fans hoping to see the Chicago-based fighter back in action soon.
During a media conference call on Thursday, White said that Arlovski is still on the UFC’s radar; he’s just sitting on the sidelines.
“He hasn’t been forgotten,” White said. “Andrei’s kind of sitting on the bench… I want to get him back in the mix if his guys want to talk. I’ll fly to Chicago and talk to them right now.“
However, White didn’t end the conversation without a parting (and unprovoked) shot.
“I thought his last fight was boring,” he said.
MMAjunkie.com contacted Arlovski’s representatives. The contract situation wouldn’t be discussed, but we did learn that the 28-year-old Arlovski is healthy, busy training, eagerly awaiting his next fight, and is anxious to get a shot at reclaiming his heavyweight title.

Dana is clearly on his usual childish top form. Could we possibly see Arlovski in the M-1?

but if he's under contract with the UFC Dana has him by the balls.....just the way dana likes it. Dana basically says sign a new deal for what I want to pay you or you'll sit out. Unfortunatly for AA it's stalling his career.

but he's still under contract and has the 1 fight left . So he can't just do that. But I wouldn't be surprised if AA "resigned" as well. His career is being ****ed right now and if I was him I would be going nuts. It's possible a bunch of guys could get together and migrate to M1 if Dana wants to play these games.

You gave a quote saying that White wants him to fight in the UFC, and draw from that a thread title of "Dana Dropping Arlovski"?

    Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Hey sherlock let me write this in words so that you can understand. The posts on ESB are mostly moot points and conjecture. Now we anyone can "interpret" whatever they want from the qoute that i posted. Most posters on here dont seem to have a problem with that or the posters that replied to this thread.

If you read in my post it clearly says "could we possibly see Arlovski in the M-1"..

So you might want to take that skull cap off your head its too tight and affecting your thinking. I mean Whisky Tango Foxtrott? Whats that go to do with the price of fish?
