Dana's trying to say the UFC managed 30 million with a 9 or 13 rating and 20% share? Only Dana could tell such a big lie and have people believe him.
You're confusing households with viewers. 1 rating point = x number of households 1 household = x number of viewers So if around 13million households were watching UFC Rio 1 then its very plausible that the audience could have been closing on 30million. Also the assumption that 1.0 = 1 million viewers may not be true but we'll see. And then there's a difference between average and peak viewership. So say Velasquez-Dos Santos. That averaged around 5.6million on FOX but peaked at around 9million.

dana lied no way if he said it was watched by 30 million people he could be telling the truth, alvarez was watched by 15 million households and they estimated at 4 people per household so they claimed he was watched by 60 million mexicans
