******ed bull****. I've met very, very few people who give a **** about MMA. I've met few hardcore boxing fans, but hundreds of thousands of British people can be called casual fans. But football dwarfs every other sport. Take my life here for instance. When the kids I teach aren't in classes they're outside in the playground playing football. When I go to a bar there is a very good chance they'll have football on, even when it isn't live. When I meet people they very often ask which football team I support. No sport has anywhere near as many outdoor facilities in this city as football. I play 5 a side every Monday and sometimes 11 a side on Thursday. Try organising a game of basketball or baseball and see where that gets you. There's a lot about professional football I don't like that made me far less of a fan than I was, but to question it's popularity is remarkably ignorant

 

I know maybe one person who knows the name of a UFC fighter. MMA isn´t even close to boxing in terms of popularity how can you compare it to soccer? Dana's talking **** as always
