If you watch the whole interview you can see that he was asked a direct question about Fedor. It wasn't an unprovoked rant. I don't particularly like Dana, but I don't see anything wrong with what he said. Fedor's management turned down a huge deal with Zuffa and opted to extort smaller promotions. In the end, they ****ed themselves over.

Dana's right. They offered Fedor an ******* full of money. Joe Rogan joked off the record once that it was for thirty million dollars. All Fedor had to do was take the fight and beat Brock and he would have had all the cards in his hand. Instead they went to Strikeforce and now we all have witnessed the fall and the twilight of Fedor's career.

Are you ****ing kidding me? How would fedor being the first to destroy brock not benefit him? :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch The common/new UFC fans would gain respect for fedor like we already have and he would become ****ing huge in the states on top of his biggest and EASIEST payday!

Umm, because every single person he beats becomes "always been overrated" right afterwards?

Why fight the best in the world when your over the hill and most fans see you as a living legend?? Why take a pay cut, enter The UFC, and it's stacked HW division when you can make much more fighting scrubs?

It is over for Fedor.. He could have fought in The UFC years ago, but was exposed and has fought weak opposition ever since. Will the ATG close out his career against a who's who of weak talent? We shall see.

And this is the problem with the UFC. The fans are just tooo fickle. Fedor has beaten 5 former UFC champions. No other heavy has ever done that. And yet somehow he would have got more accolades for beating Brock? UFC done a dam fine job hyping that man up.... You'd have thought he was the next coming of Mark Kerr.

Dana just answers questions about absolutely anything whether he knows anything about it or not. If a journalist asked him a question about Ronnie O'Sullivan he'd offer up an opinion of some kind.

He would have made more money than he did going the Strikeforce route with a convincing win over Brock and a PPV cut of future fights.
