you have two toothless hillbillys who begin by throwing handbags until one falls down. the rest of the fight consists of rolling around. snorefest if you ask me.

 

I like both sports although I'd consider myself a boxing fan first, but answer me this: why is there such a pay disparity between top boxers and top UFC fighters if the PPV numbers are close and the UFC is still growing? This is the biggest reason White is on my bad side- he's a promoter who has no problem throwing his own fighters under the bus and doesn't bother to pay them fairly when they do fight. And he's got the wool pulled over alot of people's eyes when it comes to this. Fewer people might know who Pavlik is than Chuck Liddell, but Pavlik already makes more money now per fight than entire UFC fight cards put together now. Paulie Malignaggi makes more than any UFC champ does. Even though UFC has alot of the top 20 PPV sales, there isn't a single UFC fighter who would crack the top 20 of boxing purses per fight. But, why should White mention this when he can have the 2nd best heavyweight in the world (Nogueira) win 4 times for the price of one Izzy Vasquez fight?

So, we get to hear how well the UFC is doing all the time, but yet they cry poverty at the bargaining table. Why the fighters buy this, I don't know other than that there hasn't historically been much competition for them outside of Pride. Hopefully with more new promotions popping up and competition for the top guys, we can see top fighters getting paid something more along the lines of what they should, given the success of the company. Or, White'll keep doing what he's doing, which is burning bridges with the fighters who've helped build the company by remaining a dictatorly, egomaniacal douchebag who pays his guys ****.

I like how boxing promoters and boxers dont give a **** about UFC or anything else, and they just do their own business. Oh, but Dana White, that ***** calls out boxing on every UFC card.. Meh, the more he mentions names the more people would like to see someone fight.

Nice to know boxers are pussies, so why doesnt he step in a pro ring, or the octagon for that matter.

Read my post again, I never said the mentioned boxing promoters never bashed UFC/MMA, what I said was that don't they go out of their way to bash it at every given oppurtunity like Dana White does against boxing. And as far as Jim Lampley's comment that was just one single time, now try to count the times Joe Rogan has took swipes at boxing, it'll be too many to count.

 

Dana White is a piece of garbage thats why EliteXc is gonna take over as the number 1 draw in mma very soon. They have better fighters imo. Well, with the exception of Kimbo Slice...I think he's ****.
