    Thoughts? I can definitely see Mark holding him down for 3 rounds but we all know he is inclined to wanna brawl at times..

    I'm also a huge Silva fan but I've been on the Leben bandwagon since TUF 1. I agree though about the fight, Maia has no where NEAR the power of Leben.

    There's some really boring Middleweights out there. Maia, Munoz, Grove, Okami, just never in a good fight.

    Gotta make Leben look strong, play him to his strengths. He should be in FOTN's, try and put him against guys to climb rankings against, he'll lose. He doesn't have the ground game or the muay thai, submissions skills etc to survive. He's a banger, he needs someone to stand up with him.

    I went for Leben over Wanderlei, and I didn't feel at all guilty. I love Wanderlei, but I'm a big fan of Leben and he's much more relevant these days.

    I think Leben has very underrated Brazilian Jujitsu. Sneaky submissions if not flashy ones. I think Leben is the guy you HAVE to beat to be in the title mix. Look at the middleweight picture.. Stann, Maia, Munoz, Okami, Sonnen, Belfort, Bisping, now you have Mayhem, and Silva as the champion. I have Leben ranked 9th in the UFC middleweight division.

    I'm not saying he's **** on the ground, but he's not anywhere good enough to survive the upper echelon when they decide to make it their type of fight.

    Admittedly I would've liked to see Leben vs. Marquardt. Leben's a high level gatekeeper and a fun fighter.

    Leben is to often passed off as a sloppy brawler with no skill. I think ranked 9th is pretty good especially when in January he was ranked 10th and Wandy was ranked 5th.

    I just think elite wise he's not going to get anywhere without relying on the standup. And if he's fighting someone who's smart with it it's gonna be even harder. But he could still beat a lot of guys with other methods, he's just not going to beat the Maia's or the Miller's and such on the ground. Anyone who elects to just stand and trade with him though are very silly.

    Nice but if i'm munoz i take this fight to the ground asap. I wouldn't want to mess with leben's power.

    i hope mark munoz wins but his win would probably be very boring otherwise i see leben knocking mark out within the 1st round.

    This fight is very difficult to assess because you don't know what Munoz is going to do. Brawl or wrestle....
