But is it me or BBF didn't understood one bit WTF espn is talking about.

It would have helped to make is point if he didn't asked to Chuck and 2 winner of TUF to talk about fighter salary...

Why don't can't wee see a Nam Pham interview talking about the subject ? Or Leonard Garcia ? Even the Korean Zombie ? Anybody on the low scale of the UFC salary would helped BBF to make is point...

But common...****in Forest Griffin ? Chuck ? Matt Serra ? That is completly ridiculous....

I watched the interview. Lorenzo makes some good points that they failed to mention in the ESPN interview. It would have been much better for ESPN to have shown both sides.

Ironically, the clip that the UFC put up about ESPN fighters making a few hundred dollars, is one of the few things that Lorenzo said that I think was disingenous.

 

I don't see how this is any different from Boxing, or the rest of the workforce for that matter.. FFS, these are fighters.. You're only as good as your last fight, and you can either win or lose, perform or not perform, come in over weight, or do it twice more.. Do you see where I am going with this? There is so much talent out there in the world that you have never heard of, and you have the UFC to thank for.. You're Pride heroes, Slavic, Brazilian, Asian, and African contenders. It's idiotic to constantly bash the product you follow.. This section would be ****ing dead if The UFC weren't of prominence.. Because Pride died on it's own and the rest never had so much talent under one banner.

It's just very sad when they toss out the names Zombie and what not when every last one of us is a follower at the end of the day.

I challenge anyone of you cliquish regulars to go on about you're ways and drop the product all together, but.. Ignorance is bliss.

Unions are always corrupt? Well there's a valid reason for excluding fighters from organizing for their rights.

 

It is clear Chael Sonnen makes a **** LOAD of money because I keep reading about the UFC giving good money for good promoters. I don't think they tell tehm what to say but they are happy when they say alot.

The UFC/Dana has NO RESPECT for pro wrestling. Dana has been quite clear what he thinks of it. And yet he has no problems subscribing to the same way Vince markets his brand and fighters. Considering MMA has deep roots in pro wrestling this clearly smacks of obvious hypocrisy.
What must be clear here is the UFC IS A PROMOTION. On that basis alone it will sell it's fighters by ANY MEANS NECESSARY in order for THEM and the fighters to get paid. As iv said many times on here, the UFC is only a few shades up from ECW.
